The Millèn

The Millennium Tower is a landmark in Rotterdam and, thanks to the arrival of this elegant design restaurant, it is now also a destination for foodies. Wim Severein shows his knowledge and inventiveness here by bringing together top quality ingredients and allowing them to interact with one other with a certain playfulness. His colourful compositions really are delicious!

A Michelin Star in Record Time

• The Millèn earned its Michelin star on 17 December 2018, less than five months after opening in July 2018.

A Kitchen with a View: Open Kitchen and Central Station Vista

• The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Rotterdam Marriott Hotel in the Millennium Tower and features an open kitchen with floor to ceiling windows offering views of Rotterdam Central Station.

A Monthly-changing Menu with Cosmopolitan Flavors and a Seasonal Focus

• The Millèn introduces a new menu every month, with one constant thread: distinctive dishes with cosmopolitan flavors built on pure, seasonal ingredients sourced from carefully chosen suppliers.

• Seasonal, locally sourced ingredients: The Millèn emphasizes using pure ingredients from the season, sourced from passionate local suppliers to ensure the highest quality and flavor; the monthly changing menu reflects what’s freshest and best.
• Spring greens and signature vegetables (smoked asparagus, watercress): Dishes feature seasonally available vegetables such as smoked asparagus with watercress and other greens, highlighting delicate textures and bright flavors as a hallmark of their approach.
• Luxurious seafood and poultry (monkfish, pigeon): The menu showcases seafood and poultry like braised monkfish with Thai curry and paksoi, and roasted pigeon (Anjou) with thoughtful accompaniments, representing precise technique and balance between accessibility and sophistication.
