This grand dining room in the Britannia hotel comes complete with mirrors, sparkling chandeliers and even a Caviar Bar. Choose one of the large tables or, if you want to interact with the chefs, opt to sit at the counter, where you’re served at the same time as your fellow guests. The intricate and technically accomplished dishes have a classical base and make great use of the best Norwegian ingredients, with the exceptional snacks a brilliant way to kick things off.

Nordens eneste caviarbar

  • Speilsalen hosts the Nordic region's only caviar bar, offering tastings of different caviars or whole tins as part of the evening experience.

Champagne Lunch on Saturdays with a dedicated champagne pairing

  • Every Saturday, Speilsalen runs a Champagne Lunch featuring a five-course seafood menu and a glass of champagne on arrival, with a Champagne-based wine pairing curated by Head Sommelier Armin Begic.

The Mirror Hall: palatial dining with Michelin-star credentials and flexible private dining

  • The room is a palatial Mirror Hall with glittering mirrors, drapes and chandeliers. Guests can sit at the Chef's Table (1–8) or at round tables (1–8), or in one of two private chambres séparée (up to 8 or 12). Speilsalen earned its Michelin star in February 2020 and has retained it since.
