Le Murenberg
Bubendorf, Switzerland

The Experience
From Michelin Guide
Denis and Melanie opened Le Murenberg in March 2012, fulfilling their dream of running their own restaurant. He is in charge of the kitchen, while his wife – a pastry chef by profession – is not only the charming head of service, but also takes care of the desserts. As a native of Alsace, the owner feels a close connection to French cuisine – and the Breton Weeks in October are well received. His classic dishes, which draw on modern influences, are as much about the excellent craftsmanship as they are about the high-quality produce. Incidentally, the chef hails from a winemaking family, so you can look forward to a splendid selection – the half bottles are definitely a good option.
