La Coldana
Lodi, Italy

The Experience
From Michelin Guide
Dating back to the 17C when it was part of a working farm, this farmhouse is full of character and is now home to a restaurant which has retained some of the building’s original features, such as the large wooden beams on the ceiling. The small dining rooms are softly lit, creating an attractive atmosphere, and the service is attentive and professional. If you’re dining with a group of friends, we recommend booking the wine cellar for maximum privacy, where you’ll be surrounded by renowned labels and lesser-known wines from small-scale producers. When it comes to the menu, ask for recommendations and make sure you don’t miss the San Massimo risotto with onion cream and roast eel which is full of intense, delicious flavours.
