Nuremberg, Germany
From Michelin Guide
A cornerstone of the Nuremberg fine dining scene. The set menu, written up on a large board, comprises nine courses, but for those with a smaller appetite, it can also be shortened. The dishes are crafted from carefully selected ingredients and are quite aptly described as modernised classics. Besides the chef, owner and waiter Frank Mackert is always on hand with his inimitable Franconian charm. Thanks to his extensive wine expertise, he can confidently guide you through the 500-label list. Clear lines, a warm colour palette and parquet flooring make for a lovely setting. By reservation only: Mon-Sat lunchtime (11.30am-2.30pm).
