Hotel Erbprinz is definitely something of an institution in the Karlsruhe area – and not only for the many conference participants who stay here. This is a foodie hotspot that prides itself on its stylish interior and excellent cuisine – the domain of Ralph Knebel and team. They cook classic dishes that draw on international influences, with an emphasis on seasonal produce. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding. There is a set menu comprising five to seven courses that can also be ordered à la carte. Incidentally, Ralph Knebel's wife, Jasmina, is also on board, producing fabulous desserts in her role as head pastry chef. In summer, the gorgeous flower-decked terrace is a delightful spot in which to enjoy a leisurely meal.
