The Experience

From Michelin Guide

If you’re looking for a pleasant place to dine in the Marina Alta area, this restaurant will make you feel very special. Run by Ferdinando Bernardi, a chef with lots of talent originally from Rimini in Italy, Casa Bernardi defines itself as “a place where “italianità” (true Italian hospitality) is all around you”. Located next to the road in an elevated setting within a residential district, it specialises in contemporary Italian cuisine with a strong focus on meticulous preparation, including perfectly al dente pasta and delicious Mediterranean dishes (we particularly enjoyed the squid ink lasagne and the spaghetti carbonara) that always showcase ingredients sourced from the Alicante region and close links with local suppliers. Choose between a concise à la carte (lunchtime only) and three tasting menus: Terra (vegetarian), Pasta Lovers and A Modo Mio. The attractive sea-view terrace is an added bonus!
