The Experience

From Michelin Guide

A bustling little restaurant of the sort you might expect to find in Berlin or New York, this place is a real gem. The tables are set close together and the atmosphere is pleasingly laid back. You can watch the two chefs in the open kitchen as they prepare a multi-course surprise tasting menu. You need to allow plenty of time for this dining experience, but the 3.5hr are absolutely worth it: the dishes are made with regional ingredients, and great emphasis is placed on seasonality and provenance. Dishes such as pike-perch on a bed of creamed sauerkraut with Swiss caviar, spicy turnip – raw and lightly marinated – and herbs are measured, creative and brimming with bold flavours. A vegetarian or vegan set menu is also available if ordered in advance. Please be sure to mention any dietary restrictions when booking. NB: There is no à la carte or children's menu.
